This Privacy Policy explains how Hauan Technologies, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use Wall Planner AR, our website at wallplannerar.com, and related support services.

1. Summary

Wall Planner AR is designed to help you scan a wall, plan wall art layouts, preview arrangements in augmented reality, and create hanging measurements. At launch, the app is intentionally privacy-conscious: wall scans, scanned artwork photos, saved plans, and layout details are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.

• AR camera frames and AR tracking data are processed on your device using Apple ARKit and are not uploaded by Wall Planner AR.
• Scanned artwork photos, cropped artwork images, thumbnails, saved plans, wall dimensions, item dimensions, layout settings, and placements are stored locally on your device at launch.
• The app does not require a user account at launch.
• Free-text feedback is sent to Firebase/Firestore if you choose to submit feedback. We do not ask for your name or email address in the feedback form at launch.
• We use Firebase/Google Analytics to understand app usage and improve the product. We do not include plan IDs, item titles, wall dimensions, scanned artwork photos, or free-text content in analytics events.
• Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your full payment card details.
• The OpenAI/art-scan endpoint is disabled at launch. Scanned artwork photos are not uploaded for AI processing at launch.

2. Information we collect

Information stored locally on your device. The app may store wall setup information, item dimensions, layout settings, saved plan data, scanned artwork images, cropped images, thumbnails, and exported plan files locally on your device. This information is used to provide the app’s planning, layout, saved plan, and export features.

AR and camera data. The app uses your device camera and Apple ARKit to detect and track the wall area and to place layouts in augmented reality. AR camera frames and tracking data are processed on your device for AR functionality. Wall Planner AR does not upload AR camera frames to our servers at launch.

Feedback. If you choose to submit feedback in the app, we collect the free-text feedback you enter and send it to Firebase/Firestore so we can review and improve the app. At launch, the feedback form does not ask for your name or email address. Please do not include sensitive personal information in feedback messages.

Analytics. We use Firebase/Google Analytics to collect usage and diagnostic-style event information, such as app usage, feature usage, screen or flow events, paywall and purchase-funnel events, and general device/app information that helps us understand performance and improve the app. We do not intentionally include scanned artwork photos, wall dimensions, item titles, plan IDs, or free-text content in analytics events.

Purchases. If you purchase a one-time unlock or subscription, the purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We may receive limited information needed to determine purchase and subscription entitlement status, such as product purchased, subscription status, and transaction/entitlement information. We do not receive your full payment card details.

Website analytics. Our website may use Google Analytics to understand website traffic and improve our marketing and support pages. Google Analytics may collect information such as pages visited, device/browser information, approximate location derived from IP address, and referral information, depending on its configuration.

3. Information we do not collect at launch

• We do not require user accounts at launch.
• We do not collect your name or email address through the in-app feedback form at launch.
• We do not upload scanned artwork photos for AI processing at launch.
• We do not upload saved plans, wall dimensions, item dimensions, layout settings, or placements to our servers at launch.
• We do not intentionally include user-generated content or detailed plan content in analytics events.

4. How we use information

• To provide app functionality, including wall scanning, layout generation, AR previews, saved plans, hanging measurements, and exports.
• To process purchases, manage entitlements, restore purchases, and provide subscription access through Apple StoreKit and the App Store.
• To understand app usage and improve features, reliability, onboarding, paywalls, and user experience.
• To review feedback submitted by users and prioritize fixes or improvements.
• To operate, secure, maintain, and improve our website and support materials.

5. Third-party services

We use third-party services to operate parts of the app and website. These services may process information according to their own privacy policies and settings.

• Apple ARKit and iOS camera permissions for local AR and camera functionality.
• Apple StoreKit and the App Store for purchases, subscriptions, refunds, cancellations, and purchase restoration.
• Firebase/Firestore for in-app feedback submissions.
• Firebase/Google Analytics for app analytics.
• Google Analytics for website analytics, if enabled on our website.
• Google Workspace or another email provider for support email, if you contact us directly.

6. Photos, saved plans, and AI features

At launch, scanned artwork photos and saved plans are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers. The OpenAI/art-scan endpoint is disabled at launch, and scanned artwork photos are not uploaded for AI processing.

If we introduce optional cloud-based, sync, or AI-powered features in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy before those features send artwork images, saved plan data, or related content to a server.

7. Data retention

Locally stored app data remains on your device unless you delete it, delete saved plans, remove app data through device settings, or delete the app. Feedback submitted through the app may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to review feedback, improve the app, and maintain business records. Analytics data may be retained according to Firebase/Google Analytics settings and applicable service policies.

8. Your choices

• You can control camera and photo permissions through iOS Settings.
• You can delete saved plans or app data from within the app where available or by deleting the app from your device.
• You can choose not to submit feedback.
• You can manage purchases and subscriptions through your Apple ID and App Store subscription settings.
• You can contact us at support@wallplannerar.com with privacy questions or requests.

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). We do not sell your personal information. We use Firebase/Google Analytics for analytics purposes, which may constitute “sharing” of certain data for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA. To opt out of such sharing, you may adjust your device’s advertising tracking settings or contact us at support@wallplannerar.com. You may also have rights to know, delete, and correct personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable exceptions.

10. Children

Wall Planner AR is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information we process. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the app or on our website.
